1967 Steve Bintas started QAS

1968 Steve Bintas started Steve's Auto Electric at 267 Queen St.

1975 Steve Bintas and his brother Peter Bintas became partners. The company was re-named Spark Auto Electric Co. Ltd. The company was re-building starters and alternators.

1978 Spark Auto Electric moved to a new location at Gerrard St. The company was re-building and doing electrical work.

1981 Spark Auto Electric now moved to a new location on Danforth Ave. The company now provided an additional service of mechanical repair on the premises.

1989 Spark Auto Electric was now operating as a Jobber. The company continued with the electrical work and closed the mechanical repair service.

2000 In the new year, Jim and Nick Bintas became new partners in the business.

2002 Relocation to a much larger warehouse at 401 Birchmount Road.

Since 1967, Spark Auto has been family owned and operated, providing auto parts for domestic and import vehicles for over 39 years.
